Tonight was the CHID Potluck at for the Peer Facilitators and Teaching Assistants for CHID 110. I laughed a lot, I ate really good food. Conversations were a range of topics, some that I wasn't sure if I was comfortable with or just didn't feel like talking about at that moment. Oh Amers... You're not defective! I'm pretty sure that you love me and therefore we know all of the equipment is in place. You're just scared (as we all are) about what life is bringing next and you don't want to get hurt 'cause everything is pain enough at the moment. I think I understand for the first time the beauty of meaningless encounters with people: no strings means no breaks, and you can live life in one scimming motion. Personally I think we are all defective! But you less so then many I know. I can, from personal experience, agree with Mel about desperation. Love is a very elusive thing. And it seems the more you look the less you find. Trust me, you don't want to get into a situation where you are so desperate to find someone that you don't find anyone.

So while you are somewhat defective, you're still a defective person that we care about. And when the tme is right, the person who is defective in a way that compliments your defectivities will come along... Until then, enjoy life as it is... It's no fun living life desperately searching...

Aww I loved him. (apparently not as much as his now wife), but he did have one of the best asses of any lead singer I've ever been fond of. Atleast someone will now love and adore his ass like it so greatly deserves.
