Well, I'm at work, and currently pretty bored. It's a warm and sunny St. Patrick's Day here in southern California, and I am stuck inside for another two and a half hours. I've been here since ten. Hahahaha! Liking alcohol does not equal alcoholic, I promise. And I think I own like, two green shirts, tops, so it's all good. ♥

St. Patrick's Day is the day the Irish celebrate the patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick. The religious aspect of it for Catholics (and I'm not sure about the others, but I'm Catholic so I know) is that St. Patrick brought the religion to Ireland, explaining to the Irish that the shamrock, made of three parts but still one collective unit, represents the holy trinity, the father the son and holy spirit, which come together as one God. That part about the trinity is supposed to be confusing, lol.

Oh, and then it obviously made it over to America and other countries and became a secular holiday as well!

Man, I'm such a terrible Catholic. Well, technically, I'm not Catholic anymore, but that's how I was raised and I feel like I should know that stuff. You're not crappy at explaining! Thanks for educating me. :D

So my survey answers really paint me as an apathetic alcoholic, WHICH I'M NOT. But I didn't even know it was St. Patty's day until my sister called and was like, "I'm getting WASTED at a rock concert! What about you?" "Whuu?"

(Except I'm not getting wasted; all my friends are like at school and sleeping on their typical Wednesdays, so.)

Anyhow. Yeah. Your icon is just really awesome.

Hahaha, a fondness for alcohol does not equal alcoholic. And yeah, I'm not doing anything either. I went out to dinner at Chili's and that was the high point of my day, lol.
