Life as a transformer is a game

I'd like to see a new twist on "human becomes a transformer" fics: human dies, sees a "game over" screen, and finds out that among other things they have unlocked the ability to play their next life as a transformer (keeping their memories of being a human, and their ability to interact with the world in game-like ways, such as accepting quests, ( Read more... )

I'd definitely read any game-mechanic fic set in the transformers universe. Skyfire isn't really one of my favorite characters but I don't dislike him, just neutral. Please let me know where I can take a look at your fic, unless there are no chapters to read yet. :)

Yeah, that was the general idea. The number of humans turned into cybertonians should be small, only one or two. And if there's two they should be mostly separated after their metamorphosis. I mainly want to see an isolated ex-human putting in work at training themself to gain stats and skills at being a cybertronian, via a game system that doesn't exist for the cybertronians and remains hidden from them ( ... )

So, former human has a simulation in their processor, in which the game coding(Primus) teaches them every thing they need to know?

That hadn't actually occurred to me but now that you mention it I think that would work well. :) Maybe not strictly a simulation, but rather the player of the game would unlock the ability to hack their own coding and/or earn miracles from Primus. The game interface could be either unique to the converted human(s) or could be passed down to their offspring as an operating system upgrade intended to prevent the species from killing itself off in the future because that behavior wouldn't be rewarded by the game.
