Just a note on spam and how I try to filter it.
I already get updates every time a post is made in the comm; I briefly look said post over for content, then delete the notif. In cases like we just had, with "RUSSIAN WOMEN" being the subject, it was rather easy to tell that it didn't belong in a comm about giant freakin' robots. Hence, that post is quickly deleted.
HOWEVER, that may not always be the case.
If any of you notice any spam I've missed - whether it be a post, a commentbomb, ect, ect - you're more than free to LJ message me and let me know to do my job. Honestly, that goes for anything you need related to the comm; tagging issues, affiliation, permission to make a post you're not sure about. (This includes stand-alone advertisements. I stand by the policy of ads being okay as long as there's comm-related content in the main body of the post. And remember, kids, flat-out 'SELLING MAH TOYS' does count as advertising.)
