Tim Riggins isn't a real complicated guy. Sure, he's not completely devoid of depth, and he's more than able to surprise you, but once you get to know him, it's pretty damn easy to pick up on the patterns.
Finding Tim passed out cold in his room wasn't a real unusual occurrence for Jason, even if it had been a while. But finding him sprawled face-first on his bed was sorta new. Still, patterns are patterns, and Jason knew immediately that something wasn't right.
"Hey, Riggins," he said, shaking Tim's seemingly catatonic shoulder, "What the hell, man? Wake up."

"Wha'?" he murmurs, managing to get one eye open, though he can't see past the hair covering his face and he doesn't really see the point in making an effort to move anymore than he absolutely has to. "Jay?"
