[ A very scowly young man is in the hangar, looking up at a Gundam. It's a simple, lightweight machine, with two racks of weapons that look like some kind of bit or funnel on the back, beam pistols, and a bazooka practically duct taped to the back.

He seems lost in thought. ]

Well, we ARE going to be traveling with these people. It couldn't hurt to get to know them a little.

Kamille had been doing some fine tuning for his mobile suit, the Zeta, when he spotted someone just standing in the middle of the hangar looking up at a mobile suit, a Gundam no less. Jumping down from the Zeta, Kamille walked over to the new guy, and asked, "Is that yours?"

For a moment, it seemed like Zak was just... going to ignore Kamille entirely, expression not changing. Then, slowly, he turned his head enough to look at the young man. "It is."

Clearly the kid isn't for words, Kamille wondered if he was even going to respond! He hoped it wouldn't be an issue, but it certainly wouldn't gel with certain other people. "You don't seem to be a guy who talks much, so I'm just going to warn you ahead of time: There's a girl on this ship who doesn't exactly care for silence from 'audience'. Her name's Asuka Langley Soryu, she's a redhead who's very showy." No use picking a fight, plus Asuka did grate on the nerves. "Good luck out in the field." He walked back to the Zeta, and began to climb back up to where he was.

He nodded, watching Kamille, and then Zeta Gundam. "How would you deal with her?"

I guess you must have lots of other important things to be doing during the next month we're spending traveling to the Tokyo Ruins. I'll be sure not to bother you.

Lucky you. Personally, I'm going to get bored half to death. You can only do combat sims for so long before your eyes start glazing over.

If at any point that's all there is for me to do... I could always stand to practice more.
