Sigh. I'm such an idiot when it comes to thing ending. I cry at New Years even... and so when something great ends it really bums me out. I'm going to miss Michael and Orlando so much. Maybe one day we can get a little short one about Michael and Orlando's lives in the future. Who would have thought that a story that is really in my top five favorites of all time would be with a character that is OMC. I've always read them, but theu just werent as good at the ones I knew. Yours changed all that. I love Micheal, I felt his pain and his passion and he love for Orlando. You did a spectacular job of bringing this character from OMC land into being someone real and solid for the readers. Well done there.
I hope you decide to write more. I have a very good idea that I will like whatever it is you manage to put onto paper, because you are very good at telling a story.

I don't know who would have thought that but I am mightly proud that I - or Michael - made it into the top 5 :) I'm just so glad that people have taken to Michael this way, his character was always a gamble.
Maybe I will write again at some point when this story is a bit further behind me. I don't think there will be anymore peaks into these men's lives though - this is it for Michael and Orlando, they are off living their own lives and I will no longer stalk them!

I'm glad you managed to figure out a download because having a copy of this myself is fabulous! It really is a wonderful fic and I'm not just saying that because we know each other! There's so many lovely scenes throughout the whole piece that often replay in my head and that I think of fondly. You really are a great writer and I shall read anything you write in the future with great pleasure.

Parents really get blamed for everything - and often I find it is small things that will stick in children't minds - and paren't don't know which stuff will be forgotten the next day and what will stay with people forever. It's a tough job.
I knew the engagement scene was in danger of being over the top but decided that if I was going for a happy, sappy ending then I might as well go all the way (and honestly, for a long, long time I was unsure whether it would be a happy ending at all). I also find the lovey, dovey stuff can be way too much in Slash stories so I did know I was walking a thin line here - but I'm kind of glad I gave them the rings, it just feels right *Dippy smile* And I'm glad you approve of the ending.
