Glad you enjoyed: Dante is worth a read even if you're not a Snape fan. I could wish Dumbledore had been a better Virgil, though.

Thank you for making that so clear. I've read many stories where Snape is reading or quoting Dante and always thought it Cliche and morose because it happens so often but now I can see why.

The original, of course, is better. I don't remember who said this: poetry is that which is lost in translation.
