Florianopolis - surf's up, and shockingly, so am I

Congrats on successfully surfing :-) Even baby-surfing is more surfing than I can do, so...

I suspect some of hockey knowledge is transferrable into being a soccer goalie. I don't mean, will-turn-you-into-an-instant-expert, but just that there is probably some similarity in reading plays, playing angles, etc.

Yeah I suspect the same wrt hockey/soccer goalie transferability. One big difference is that ballhandling is much more important for the soccer goalie than in hockey; the defenders (or whatever they're called) often pass back to the goalie as though he were one of them.
