Eleventy hundred years, that's how long. Or however long it takes Jon to grow a spine (no offense) and tell his mom that he's already got plans and that she can't be the most important woman in his life anymore. Seriously, if I was doing the kind of thing he's doing, my mom would get pissed at me.
