It's been over a month since I have posted, I've been trying to make comments but my posting hasn't been on any type of schedule. What has been happening in the last month? I had a cold the end of January the beginning of February. As far as colds go, it wasn't too bad but I find I don't bounce back from a cold like I did when I was younger.*sigh ( Read more... )

Re: Wake up America!!! - I have to smile. When I got off the plane in Minneapolis (MN is a lovely shade of blue state), the first thing I say in the ladies' bathroom was Can The Con. Wake up, America!!!

Can The Con. Wake up, America!!! Unfortunately, I doubt it. As Mr. Cohen said yesterday, he surrounds himself with people who work everyday to protect him. He now has most Republicans, in the house and senate doing it too. It's so sad that what he said way back in January 2016, before the election, is still true I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.

He certainly is made of teflon.

I should just settle down to it and wait it out. Yes. I think all we can do at this point is hope and pray he doesn't get reelected. Even if by some miracle, the Republicans come to their senses, Pence is worse. AND... do we want him until 2024 or even 2028?

Agree, and it's so frustrating to see how he just bullies along and no one stands up to him.

I know and I just don't get it.

I guess Republicans don't believe the old saying "if you lie down with dogs, you will get up with fleas."

She always blamed her mental health problems for being difficult, but did she know that we loved her despite the fact that she was sometimes hard to deal with? I sincerely hope so.

They are but I'm lucky to have 6 siblings to share my grief with.
