I should pickle stuff and make marmalade and jam as I’m at home now but I’ve only got as far as buying a recipe book ;)

My mom made jams and jellies and as i remember, they were fairly simple and way better than store bought. Next year when summer fruits start blooming again, I will have to try jams.

You should make pickles, try cold pack pickles first, they are very simple and since you store them in the 'fridge no need to cook them and seal them. This is the first recipe I tried and the flavor was good but they weren't crunchy. I am now trying my 3rd recipe (not cold pack this time) but I won't find out if I like them for 3 weeks. If I don't like this last recipe, I'm going to go back to the 1st recipe but use these tips to make the pickles stay crunchy.
