I really enjoyed this film. It's very well written and has some of my favorite character actors (James Cromwell, Scott Glenn, John Malkovich.) Diane Lane really should be nominated for a Oscar. Good for Abby! She's all grown up and confident.

I hope you can manage to convince her that having a kitten is fun. The poor kitten sounds like he needs you.

I only saw NCIS on a tiny ipod screen, so I couldn't tell about the disco suit. Damn.

Ooh, a little baby kitty! Sounds like he/she is well on their way to being adopted. The grown ups (yeah right!) just need a bit more time to get used to the idea. Maybe you could tell Abby that the new kitty is her kitty, so she will take care of it?
I just got back from a lovely expensive weekend in Dana Point at the wire masters thing I told you about. Had a great time, meeting interesting, talented women, learned some new techniques and had a restful time. Gorgeous hotel. Will tell you more when I see you.
I still have some time off so maybe I will take a run up to Oak Glen, when it's cooler, as heat is forecast...boo!

Oh, kitty! That kitten sounds adorable and sweet. I hope he manages to make friends with your other kitties.

Billie Jean sounds a bit like Abby. She does not like to be picked up, but she seeks out affection. She really prefers for it to be all her choice. She likes to sleep nearby me. Annabelle also does not like to be picked up. Both of them have settled in pretty nicely now, but both are still very skittish--especially Billie Jean. She seems to be trusting, but still overreacts to noises and sometimes seems to feel threatened if she's approached--even by me or my daughter. (She reacts like she thinks we're going to kick her or hit her.) Unfortunately, the two babies have picked up on this reaction a little, but generally they are more trusting, more relaxed, and having too much fun.
