So, having taken a look at the chaff of children's tv programming, we can crack on with the wheat of the problem, and my blood pressure can actually be somewhere other than a level that makes me extremely glad that I'm now living opposite the A&E of Winchester hospital. I definitely agree with numbers 10, 7, 6 and 3. 'In The Night Garden' was the bane of my life until my youngest sister outgrew it (ugh, the noise. It grated so.) The only reason I don't entirely agree with 2 and 1 is because I only ever saw an episode or two of them, and idk whether that's a good basis for an opinion on the show as a whole.

Also, how is Shaun the Sheep not on this list? Best thing CBBC's come up with in years.

I feel I must now watch In the Night Garden.

Animaniacs was shown in the UK, and it was not before your time, because I remember it fondly as part of my childhood.

I haven't actually seen A:tLA yet. Well, I've seen a few episodes, but not many. I do keep getting rec'd it, though, so I probably ought to get around to watching the rest...

Nice list you have here, anyway.

I feel deprived for not having grown up watching television.

Still, it's made me - uh - unique, let's say.

Well now. Blimey. No, I didn't know, and I greatly appreciate you telling me.
I'm a little apprehensive, actually, becuase I'm not sure how easy it's going to be for them to keep the dramatic momentum going after such a long hiatus.
We shall see, I guess.

Oh, Lord, The Sparticle Project. What a mess that turned out to be. Particle physics, Indian heart magic, psychic powers and Kryptonite (or whatever it was called) all supposedly existing in conjunction with each other? I gave up after the episode that Gerran Howell was in, because that was the episode where both the series' established antagonists started helping the main characters with absolutely no explanation. Essentially, the writers chickened out of having villains, which I found intensely annoying.
I've seen a couple of episodes of Horrible Histories from time to time. It struck me as pretty good, certainly better than most efforts to do comedy for kids.
