The wrapping paper had been cleared away, the remaining slices of both cakes had been put in the fridge for storage, and the guests had been seen off and thanked for coming to celebrate. Sera for her part felt like she was walking on air. Despite the time that had gone by, she wasn't feeling tired at all, and nothing was weighing down her

The living room gives no results for Sera. Neither does the closet, or under the tables. She moves for the bedroom, although she doubts that Heat is there; since becoming a child he doesn't agree with bedtimes. However, when she sits down on one of the beds to take a breather she notices something black and fuzz covered sticking out from under where she's sitting.

"Is that...?" Sera trails off as she gets down and checks under the bed. Sure enough, there's a small red headed kid under there, trying very hard to go unnoticed.

"Okay, okay. I found you. Will you come out from under there now?" Sera reaches under the bed and towards Heat as she speaks.

When Heat bunches up, there isn't much that Sera can do. She doesn't have the upper body strength to move him, so what she's left to doing is giving him a gentle pat on the side and trying to sound as kind as possible.

"You won't have to go to sleep at once, okay? If you come out now, we'll have time to do one or two more things before it's time to sleep."
