I've come down with a bad case of thesis-itis. I thought the winter break would help with my recent lack of motivation, but that was before I got the flu and ended up in bed for a week. Yeugh. Tomorrow begins the deluge of final papers from my students. Fortunately I got the rest of the grading done for my class last week. Well the psych class turned out to be not as useful for me as I thought it would be. From the course catalog it sounded like we would mainly be discussing the theory behind modeling cognition using neural networks etc., but instead it's more of a lab course with weekly projects involving training a network to do a specific task.
