The Campus Republicans here at RIT had a poster up for one of their meetings. The entire text of the message (beyond the time and location of the meeting) was this:

Don't you find it ironic that we have freedom of speech?

Don't you find it ironic that we are not oppressed?

WE Do Not!!!

Why?

Because it is IRONIC that life was lost and sacrifices made to preserve our freedom.

Ummm... Isn't it ironic that one would so misuse the word "ironic"?
