Getting an escort into base wasn't a huge issue for Alison. She got a pretty decent conversation out of it. Asking the right questions got her the information she needed; large team, mostly mutants but not all, generally quiet but with the occasional 'mission'. She wasn't sure what that would mean, Ali had vague memories of battles in space, an interesting one with a big green guy and few others. Sure, her memory was fuzzy, but she knew there were battles to be fought, not just for mutants but against dangerous mutants.
And she was ready for that, more than ready for it. Backing vocals for Lila was as dull this time around as it had been the first time, and frankly, Alison was past that. If she was ever going to get back to the top of the charts, back into the limelight, back on a stage with the thrumming of the bass in her blood again, well, first she needed to help the cause. And that was fine.
She was pointed towards the main office, where the so-called leaders of the base would be. Alison had already talked to a General Stone, but apparently he was just a figure head. She had two others to meet.
Well, she was hyped and ready, pumped full of power thanks to a sale at Macy's and the horrifying muzac all through the airport. Dazzler was ready for anything.
