I enjoyed jury duty. So amusing. Air conditioned rooms. Being paid to read Harry Potter . . .
If it wasn't for getting off for summer school I could have been paid for a week at least!

That's cool that you enjoyed the judicial process. I actually just got called for jury duty myself, but got out of it because of class. Perhaps next time they will call me for a time that isn't conflicting.

In New York, if you have a conflict, you have to call and reschedule - you pick a date 2-6 months ahead, and they either give you that date or a date near it. So you get out of it, but you know you'll be called back soon.
