Does anyone have any experience with either teaching or studying abroad???I've been looking into becoming TESOL/TEFL certified, meaning I could travel around the World teaching English. Unfortunately, most places require a Bachelors Degree for you to teach there, and Africa isn't even an option :( But! China, Cambodia & Indonesia only require a ( Read more... )

The whole point of doing these teaching programs is for you NOT to know their language. That way it forces them to learn english to communicate. The people that run these programs actually perfer it if you can't speak the language.
Must people come on your journal while your trying to get information and be completely ignorant?

my cousin is suppose to go to china and teach kids the english language and she said they want people who don't know how to speak chinese.
