There's a street in Central Taxon, a street where exactly a week ago, Leonard Shelby was slaughtered by Qetesh. In that same street, in exactly the same spot and slumped on the floor against the wall where he died, Leonard 'materialises'. There's no slow appearance, one second there's nothing there, save for the now brown blood stained paving

[Yeah, so Leonard won't remember him, and Dean's tiny, but so what? Dean's freaked out and doesn't have time for anything other than this.]

Oh hey. [a bit startled at the voice, but it's a kid and a kid that knows his name, so he'll just be friendly.] Beats me, guess I was tired?

No, dude, you were dead. There's a difference. [Dean says bluntly. He's still surprised. As far as he knew, there were no crossroad demons here, therefore, nobody should be coming back to life.]

[brb processing that - and Leonard's brain comes to a logical conclusion - he must have been playing dead for the kid - maybe he let him pretend shoot or something.] S'pose you gotta kill me all over again now then. Sucks, huh?

Castiel shouldn't be surprised by this. Not with all that has happened lately. But this catches his attention particularly, because Taxon or not, people are not supposed to return from the dead like this. When people die, their souls have moved on. Forever.

"Hi" Leonard offers with an unsure smile, clearly he knows this guy well enough for him to video conference call him on this advanced cellphone thing.

And -- sorry. He shuts off the connection. Nothing against you, Leonard, of course.

"Friendly." Leonard shrugs sarcastically, trying to work out how to get the guy back on screen, to no avail.

Uh, I think so. [a bit hesitant, as he sort of does one of those mental self check things - everything intact, no injuries]

Yep, definitely okay. Maybe I had a few too many beers.

[is nodding eagerly as if she can be seen as well as heard, even though she can't]

Ooooooooh I've so been there before. Except with mint juleps instead of beers. I feel for you and so does my head and my stomach. 'Cause you know hangover-y stuff.

Yeah,'s funny, don't feel too hungover, but... [discussing why he did just wake up in the street, is probably something he'd rather avoid though. Doesn't tend to make the best first impression, unless of course this isn't a 'first' impression.]
