So, last night was rather interesting. We decided, after some debate, to take "Sage" back to her owners. We really didn't want to take her back, but Animal Control did some investigating, and they said they found nothing to give signs of -

Yet another bump in the road...
So, I took my car to get it inspected, and ......... it failed. Ugh. One more bump or road block on my road to getting my license. I was hoping that it would pass and I would be able to go on friday (or saturday) to get my license. That is still a possibility, but I would have to use my dad's pick-up truck ( Read more... ) -
I drove today!
Well, today I actually drove my Explorer with just my brother in the car (in otherwords, a tad illegally). Other than almost backing into the ditch at the end of the driveway, I did alright. RIP: Paul Winchell
Another one of our childhood icons (well, his voice) has passed away. Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger from 1968-1999 passed away friday.
According to paulwinchell.com, not only was he the voice of Tigger, and other animated characters (Gargamel, Dick Dastardly, and Boomer in "The Fox and the Hound"), he was also an inventor ( Read more... ) -

Today, my dad, bowlteacher2, and I played animal rescue. To read the whole story, see his post here (including pictures). We now have a cute little Jack Russell Terrier dog. We named her Sage. I can't say why, but when my dad mentioned naming her, that was the first and only thing I could think of. -

I completely forgot! This morning, dad had an appointment to get his truck looked at to pass the state inspection at 8 am. I had to follow him in my Explorer so he could drop it off, and I drove back home. At about 10:30, we got a call saying it was fixed and passed inspection.
