Erm... Happy April?!

Looking at my journal, it would appear that I haven't updated yet this month! Whoops.

Went looking for this to share: Be Brave. It's actually an advert, of sorts, but I've seen it a ( Read more... )

I adore that advert/message, too. Probably one of the best I've seen in years.

The song snippets are beginning to annoy me, haha. Although GD are clearly a bunch of teases that like to watch their fans squirm, so I suppose it was to be expected. ;)

Yeah, although I'm not squirming so much as I'm tired of the games and just generally irritated by them right now. Not really a squee environment yet alas - hoping it gets there at some point!

I LOVE that be brave ad! *sniff* And I also love George. =)

In theory, I like the idea of hearing the full album unspoiled, but in practice, I would never be able to wait - I'm all over any little snippet that leaks. I'm weak, dammit. ;)

How long are you in Canada for? (I'm sure you said but I don't remember)

Well, I discovered in the past that tiny snippets act very much like TV spoilers for me, in that they create false expectations and I am then disappointed by the real thing because it doesn't match up. So I tend to avoid. Of course, the lack of weak is also fuelled by the lack of squee. :-/ Just not feeling it.

Shifting locations tomorrow, heading back on the 20th.

Good to hear that you haven't fallen off a cliff somewhere. ;)

I think it was the actual music video altered to include FUCK YEAH BASKETBALL, or at least that was the impression I got.

That's what I was thinking, but it just seems weird all around, although I suppose a song entitled "Know Your Enemy" would inevitably be conscripted by some kind of sports. I don't know, dude. I would like to start finding all the secrecy and apparent elitism amusing again instead of fucking irritating, and move on to the squee portion of the programme, but it's just not happening.

Also, I woke up this morning from a dream wherein I was writing an essay-question exam on a historical F1 race - we watched the footage then were given our topics and had to write a paper immediately. WTF? Clearly your fault. :P
