As opposed to my research, which, you know, charters. They're awesome, but they're it, except for some dirty lies in Dudo of Saint-Quentin and maybe a few others.
I nominated a ridiculously all-Canadian slate of ransoms and characters, except for Ryan Kesler (American hockey player) and Sir John A. MacDonald (Scottish-born despite being Canada's first Prime Minister). I'm not sure what I'm going to request, though.
