A Change is as good as a holiday (so they say) and I am in need of a holiday but can't decide if I should go to a wedding in Florida in July or New Zealand in October, as I can't afford to do both (or have the leave for both

Oh, we are bestest buddies and I'd love to see her again, so luckily that's not an issue. BUT I would be just one face amongst many with her very LARGE family invading as well.
I could do New Zealand def. Wanna come with me? :)
I was thinking of maybe squeezing Universal Studios in as well, but July is kinda peak season and I don't fancy the idea of standing in hours of lines for a brief ride with a crap load of people. Or I am just rationalising myself into staying.
Coral Springs is pretty close to Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area (which is where I have been thinking of going to sometime in July or August myself). Not too far from the beach (though I don't think Florida beaches will compare to New Zealand beaches).
Universal Studios are quite a bit of fun, though I haven't had a chance to visit the Harry Potter addition yet. They are in the Orlando area, which are a 3 to 3 1/2 hour drive from Coral Springs. I was there about four years ago in June, at the start of peak season, but we went right as school was getting out so I think we beat most of the vacation crowds. Going on a weekday is key as well. I traveled with my sister and niece. My friend had a guide to visiting Disney World and the surrounding theme parks with all of these tricks on which days were the best and what time of year and what part of the park to go to to optimize your time when you were there and it was amazingly helpful!
So.. potentially if your plans pan out, we could conceivably be in the same general local at the same general time *Oooo, adds one more pro in Florida column*
I've been to Disney land and Disneyland Paris, so I'm more inclined to go Universal (with the Harry appeal). When do schools normally go back, begin August or end August?
If it were a vote, I would be voting for new Zealand. Florida in high summer isn't exactly....comfortable. I am going to be in Florida in a couple of weeks and I am dreading it a bit.

I may have gone overboard on the banner pics. Is 150 too much? *sheepish glee*

Yeah, that's the thing I thought of but didn't write - who marries and how you relate to them/how much do like them...
Could you afford to do New Zealand next year?
You never can have too much icons and banners! :)
