An important lesson regarding cherries

Miriam and I learned an important lesson about eating fresh-picked cherries from the farmer's market today.

Don't eat 1/4th and 3/4ths of a pound of cherries in one sitting. It won't end well.

perhaps this is just my silly math skills talking, but wouldnt 1/4 and 3/4 be a pound... or were these two separate sittings...

Miriam ate 1/4 lb and I ate 3/4 lb. So it was a pound between us
