Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or EDTA.

From a quick search, it's used to treat calcium buildup, or band keratopathy, in the cornea of the eye. 26 letters. :) Glad I don't have to say it, just cut and paste it :P

I'm a bio teacher, so maybe I'm biased (or just a mutant from conception), but if you break it down it is actually pretty easy, especially if you know the structure of the molecule... Ethylene Di-amine Tetra-acetic Acid. :)
