Ok. Now that I have that out of my system...

I love this tangible result to a very slowly built up dependency between these two. It's beautiful to see Sansa be able to offer her support through contact and how the closeness isn't bothering her and also to see the deeper cracks in Denerys and how much she's grown to rely on Sansa. Super *GAH* to Sansa having all these *feelings* she doesn't understand....and the fact that this is leading to her needing to break free is awesome . I look forward to the next few chapters eagerly!

I had actually never realized how much Daenerys and Sansa did have in common when it comes to low self esteem and being bullied into things by men who don’t think women have a will of their own… But you are right, and them talking about it together is really intense! Now Khaleesi, that’s a role model for a blushing maiden!

(Plus Sansa really wants to take Dany in her arms, I can feel it! ;-)

I think they really needed to have that conversation, to open up to each other. Without that I doubt that they really could progress in a realationship a lot.

They definitely needed to address the various issues from their past before they could move on. It remains to be seen whether this will be enough of a push to get Sansa past her wilful denial. ;-)
