I totally failed my first test. I was the first person that day so it was like 7:30am - not my ideal time of day. I completely ignored the right of way and drove straight past a "no entry" sign, both about three minutes after getting in the car. Yeah. :/

I remember the sheer hell of driver's ed, hoo boy. I don't test well when I'm being actively watched, and along with my instructor there were two other girls riding along.
I ripped the paneling off the inside of the door, then kinda sorta smooshed the car into a light pole while trying to park.
Amazingly, the actual driving test to get my license was sickeningly easy. I literally drove out of the DMV parking lot, went down the highway a bit only to drive back INTO the DMV parking lot from its far end. And that was it. I was never more relieved in my fucking life when they were stupid enough to give me my license.
I'm so glad to hear this, Robin. *hugs*
Oh, and hey, it's been forever. How ya been?
