help my lj friends

seeking recommendations for accom in Melbourne for when I pop down in May. We need (preferably) a 2 bedroom serviced/hotel apartment for 3 adults for 2 nights in or close to CBD. Any recommendations? Under $300/night (prefer under $250/night). Everything I find has a billion dud reviews on trip advisor! HALP!

I don't know what prices they'd have for more people, but i booked a place at the Quality hotel (Batman's Hill on Collins) through wotif on verrrry short notice. Omg their beds were the comfiest most lovely beds i had ever slept on. And the pillows!! My god, i've considered more than once ringing them and finding out where they get their pillows from. For me (it was a double room) it cost $120 a night and it's right across from.... um, it's a really ugly train station. Next to a tram stop too. And a krispy kreme.
