So, I have re-discovered Oregon Trail

 Via an Apple IIe emulator. Sadly, the Doctor was the first to go (drowned while fording the Kansas River).

Oregon Trail is an educational computer game that came out in the 80s(and now I'm dating myself, ha!) Basically, you had a wagon of 5 people, and you had to get them from Missouri to Oregon safely.

But the game throws everything from food shortages, to bad weather, to disease at you. So, occasionally, you'll get little notices like "Phil has died of dysentery."

For a kid's teaching tool, the game is a bit morbid. LOL.
