love this verse, it works really well. but now i need more fic to feed the habit! and I would love to see them all dressed as mods and rockers!

Yes, well essentially the mods vs rockers were the same concept. Gangs controlling separate parts of town though (while money was a minor role) it was more the music and dress that pitted them against each other.
