My new town's annual festival is a celebration of the carrot. Yes, the orange tubular vegetable. Mostly it's a chance to shut down the main street and let people set up shop. I cooked with tofu noodles and they were yummy! Roommate and I, being people who have never tried tofu, sat at the table trying to think of the appropriate adjective to describe the consistency, but it was not an epic fail, so I call SUCCESS in the kitchen. -
