And it's glorious!!
Sebastian Stan, our very own BUCKY, thinks fanfiction is a good way to work out your feelings and emotions - specifically over the ending of Infinity Wars. Whooo! :D

This is a Facebook link to an interview. If you can't or won't go to FB, here's the essence of it in printI luff this guy ( Read more... )

Well I hope you have a wonderful time in Maryland.

What I suggest you could do is go to weather.com and look up where you will be going in Maryland and then check the 10 day page. Of course often Mother Nature pays no attention to what weather people say but it can be a bit of help.

Thanks! I think it'll be cool.

Yeah, I can. I can even go to the Farmer's Almanac and look up archived weather history, heh.

But in-the-state info is always more helpful.

Hey, bb! <3

I have no idea what Maryland is like in September, but with the way the weather's been I think it's a good idea to pack some mixed clothing. Maybe things you can layer on or take off, depending on how cold or hot it might be.

Glad to hear you're writing, that's always a good thing. And I love Sebastian Stan so much too.

All the hugs!

Right? It's been so nutty here in Missouri, who knows!! I know the air-con will be overwhelming no matter what - it always is. 100 degrees outside (literally), and i'm in my hoodie at work, sitting on my feet by turns because i'm *freezing*.

He is the best. :D

I'm FINISHING OMG the J2 space Au that has eaten my brain. This 'last chapter' just keeps getting longer and longer and longer......

Haha, yeah, that happens sometimes. But I know it's going to be stellar (bad pun, but I mean it!) because it's you. You're such a talented writer. <3

I'm just so frustrated with my brain.

Community Risk Reduction.... Sounds like a lot of the courses the management at my company likes to take but which no one knows what it really means^^

Ah, I miss the days when fandom and RL were in different galaxies...

Anyway, it's good to hear from you!

Heeee!
Basically, I work with the fire department here, and am tasked with coming up with a community-wide, year round risk reduction and education program. Stuff for the kids, stuff for seniors, education about fire hazards, falls, all that kind of stuff.

I don't really mind that they mix, so long as people don't get stupid about it. Or hateful.

*twirls you*

Good to hear from you, too! :D

Mr. Stan seems like a nice gentleman, from everything I've read and the candid photos I've seen. I think I'm irreversibly prejudiced in his favor by a photo interview he was doing and one of the bts people had a stuffed wolf (that looked more like a Totoro, actually). He gave this plaintive look and reached out, "Can I hold it?" and proceded to hug it to him the rest of the interview. Silly I know, but I'd have done exactly the same, so I feel a tiny sliver of kinship, and like him because of it. Other reasons too, but that was the first inkling ( ... )

He does, doesn't he? I know what interview you're talking about! And yes - he just wanted to cuddle the stuffed toy, and that was damn sweet. :D

Ack! Sorry - hope what I said wasn't terribly spoilery. He basically just says (non spoilery!) “...write down your feelings. You should write down the stories you want to see. Write down what you want to have happen with your favorite characters,” Stan said.

When the actor was asked dead-on about whether he was advocating fan-fic, Stan was nonplussed.

“Yeah, why not? I think that would be a good way to deal with it. And then you might actually maybe have it come true, I don’t know. Never say never, right? It’s possible.”And he said it with this little smile that, to me, meant he *knew* what he was saying, and didn't mind in the least ( ... )

Prepare for hot and cold! If it's anything like Jersey, September is iffy! For sure prepare for air conditioning, you're so right! Stepping from outside to in is like stepping into a refrigerator.

This Stan fellow seems like a nice guy-does he know what he's letting himself in for? :D

Dude, i'm sure it's the reason i feel so weird half the time - alternately freezing and baking is *not good*!!

Heeeeee!
I just hope to gods nobody is stupid enough to actually send him anything.
