Yep.

It doesn't help that this year this time of year is resulting in panic attacks stemming from the fear of once again losing something I care so much about. No matter how unrealistic that fear may be.

So, 2009 has about 14.5 hrs left before it's over. According to all forecasts, while the beginning of 2010 will be a bit of a stress-inducer between finishing up the wedding plans and getting a presentation ready for a conference in Cincinnati the same month, it looks like it should be better than 2009. I'd like to say that this past Saturday went by and I didn't spare a thought toward the date. I'd like to say I didn't get melancholy, or that I didn't catch a memory on the breeze as it brushed my cheek. Happy 28th.

I thought I could make it past today this year without giving it a second thought. I was working toward it. I hadn't even thought about it since 2009 began.

But it's not even 9am yet, and today...

Today.

I'll always love you. GET OUT OF MY LIFE.

 It set in today that next week I celebrate my birthday. And while I'm not reaching any usual milestone in my years per normal consensus, I realized that it's a marker to a milestone that I will be passing next year. Today is 5 years.

It's time to let go.

Tonight, I get rid of everything I have left. Just because his things are gone doesn't mean he'll leave me. He'll always be in my heart, so I don't need to hold on. He's not going anywhere.

Happy 27th. I just wish you were here to enjoy it.

This year, all the dates fall on the same day they did that year.

I'm not looking forward to this.
