And I do feel Reid is very particular, even (or maybe even MOSTLY) about 'casual bed buddies'.
For instance, that whole 'microwave dinner' scene felt very out of character to me. I understand WHY they did it like that, but it didn't feel right.
***No second best choices for me. I want the best or I can do without.***
That's how I see him, anyway:-)
So I don't think Gary will turn psycho on us. It wouldn't look good on Reid:-)))
Thanks (again) for your feedback. Loved it!

Love the Emma scene. It makes me happy that Luke had two such wildly different grandmtohers growing up and that they both gave him security and love. Emma's not as showy a character so I sometimes forget that she's just as much an influence on Luke as Lucinda. Luke actually lived with Emma for long stretches of time and it's good to see their bond.
Love that Reid is so used to the Neurowing being a project that he works on with Luke, that he automatically invited Luke to a meeting with Reid's ex sexual partner without being all soap opera-y about it and trying to hide it and so on. And Luke was about ten kinds of awesome during the encounter with Gary [confident, quick-witted, snotty].

And Reid's 'feel free to join' was a nice touch, wasn’t it? :-))) I consciously moved away from the soapy road on this one, because it felt very out of character if I made Reid hide something.
Don’t you just LOVE Luke like this? It suits him so much better than the codependent, insecure Luke, doesn’t it?
That’s one of those things I never understood. Why the writers gave Luke all those ‘grow up’ tasks (running the Foundation, taking over Grimaldi Shipping) but on the other hand kept portraying him as weak, doubtful and immature.
(That’s why I made Reid voice that frustration in the car with Damian:-))
