There is so much brilliant fic on this exchange, and you have most definitely just added to the total. I adore your characterization of Yagyuu: following the letter of the law but not the spirit of it is definitely something that I see as a fundamental part of his character, and you've brought that out really well here.

I like the setting as well. We've seen so many AUs around and each of them are intriguing in their own way, but I like the fact that this tall, tall New Edo reflects the fact that Yagyuu is very much leading a contained lifestyle - at least, until Niou comes along.

It's a great piece. ♥

When I read that it was sci-fi I nearly wet myself, I have been craving some sci-fi D1 for too long now sjkzrthnks *o* and this was just so excellent!

I absolutely loved the setting, it was so visual, it's like I could picture everything in so much detail and more. And I liked the way you portrayed people from the upper grounds as being closer to the light and the lower grounds being dark and dingy. Kinda reminded me of the film "Sunshine" but I wont go into that :P When you said the lower grounds had no windows, I suddenly felt extremely claustrophobic. Makes me wonder what the kinds of people that dwell in a place like are like, makes it even more edgy and uncomfortable. And kinda makes me wonder what type of a person Niou really is.

Mmmmm their relationship was as difficult as ever. God, why can't Yagyuu just say "I like you, can we fuck nao?" XDDD I'm sure Niou wouldn't object. And when there was mentions that they were 'twins' was it bad of me to want them to fuck even more because they were twins? *o* *throws self out of the ( ... )

*laughs* Surely you've been pretty spoilt for sci-fi this round. But yay, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. >)

Leila asked for twincest. Ahahaha. MY INTERPRETATION THEREOF, OOPS.

Mmmmmmmmmmm~!

Love the writing, the dialogue and the interactions. Great imageries, lovely use of words that make the prose really enjoyable to read. These days there are far too many pronoun-verb-object. pronoun-verb, pronoun-verb-object. [repeat 20000 times] sort of fanfic out there and people think that's "style". orz Thank you for restoring my faith in fanfics.

There can be so much more to this story; somehow I got the feeling there should have been more to D1's interactions, maybe another two or three scenes, to help build the depth of their feelings (both for each other and for their lives)? But I'm probably stating the obvious here and if you'd had more time you'd have written it.

^^;;;; thanks!

Yeah. I agree, basically. Writing this was a liiiiittle bit insane, I suppose I should be glad I ended up with a story at all. XDDD

I was utterly, utterly lost in this fic. It was so bloody good. I adored every tiny interaction between Niou and Yagyuu.

And the little bit about hearing a story about twins that ended in death. ♥ for that.

Niou's observation about the look in Yagyuu's eyes was love.

As well as the dialogue, which was perfect, faultless.

Yagyuu topping is always so fucking hot. Guh.

I love the slow way the story unraveled, but still left a bit of mystery. That was delicious.

Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou. ♥

This was very good! <333 The dialogues were love, and your style is great! From the beginning, I got this feeling from your writing that you know your genre, and it made it all the more enjoyable. And there are some beautiful phrases in your prose, wow.

I'm not coherent enough to comment, but <3. I'd love to read more of this too!

And I would love to write original sci-fi, but somehow I feel tons more pressure than with fanfic sci-fi. Ahaha. I get obsessed with trying to make things plausible and interesting and all the rest on the sci side of things. And I are not a scientist. >_>;;;;
