4 months!
So, I am well into my 17th week, which makes me 4 months preggo, (3.5 months since conception ... which I think is a more accurate way of tracking progress). We had an doppler on Tuesday and the baby's heartbeat was "perfect" according to the Dr... and this joy of hearing that is not going away for me. I am so thankful and excited! heartbeat
We saw a heartbeat last Tuesday and I couldn't believe it!!! I have never had a good ultrasound and I about lost it! Actually, I did lose it ... it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen .... ever! I don't know why I was so surprised that the bee bah within is actually real... but I am thrilled and sick and thrilled about it! -

I am pregnant.
Freaking out...
Elated.
Scared of what happened last year at this exact time...
Super thrilled...
Afraid of what might happen, or not happen.
Am I the only woman who has been through this...? Of course not ... but the feelings are so overwhelming. And, don't get me started on the hormones. -

Ah Friday
Things lately have been so good. I mean in a way that is just peaceful. My soul feels like it can be happy without having to work for it... it just is. Having worked through the beginning stages of recovery, I am seeing how the program works and that really working the steps brings healing. I really really love it ( Read more... ) -

I found that all the work I have done with the 12 steps has really paid off. I had the person over to my house who I had serious problems with about 4 months ago, and she stayed after our meeting to talk, and I realized what a hurting person she is, and how much I was able to have compassion on her, and how much I was not harboring resentment ( Read more... ) -

Today is another particularly dreamy day of weather. Loves it. At lunch with the hubby outside with a yummy salad.
He is all upset because he mis-placed his ipod touch that he uses to record his sermons on. Usually I would get all worried with him, but he does this ALL the time. Then he makes up things like people stole it out of his car, he ( Read more... ) -
Next step.... a challenge
Now that I feel like I have a plan and am getting my eating under control. I am thinking to really drop the weight that I would like to drop... I need a challenge. I printed off the training for a marathon schedule and think that I am going to start running again.
Feeling nervous about it... but I like the challenge. -
