I'm going in to work tomorrow also. I think my plants are probably dead. Haven't watered them in over 8 days. Oh well ~ the cube lights will irradiate them into a coma.
Spent Christmas Eve and Day (morning until 2pm) on a train from montana. Was still a great "winter" trip, but I wouldn't call it a great Christmas itself.
Thankfully, I'm not one to get caught up in the gifts, tree, etc.. The only thing I got was a living tree (no gifts, tinsel, ornaments, or decoations). And the tree is still 'growing' in the driveway in its root bag ~ buried under a foot of snow.
Well, you could say it was a different way to spend your Christmas... Are you going to post pictures? I'm sure your plants are fine, if they're wilted a little water will cheer them right up :) I speak from experience **eye's my sad plants on desk**.
I love the fact that you living tree is growing in your driveway buried under snow. We fluffed up our little silver tree and plugged it it. Sadly you can tell it's been in storage for the past 3 years.
2 of my plants were doing ok. I trimmed them way back a couple weeks ago anyway.
The third plant dropped EVERYTHING. Of course, I needed to trim it back to nothing anyway. So as long as it comes back in the next few weeks, no worries.
I'll definitely post pics ~ probably this weekend. On Facebook most likely. Including some silly vids :)
I work today as well, but, only until noon. (it says here in small print) The small work crew in the office today has plans to go to a new Mexican restaurant in downtown (ha ha) Farmville to have Margaritas. Yeah. I'm personally glad that Christmas is over. Maybe next year I will find the elusive spirit and I must say, though tempted, I never once said "bah humbug" Sorry about the impending headache from red wine, that my dear daughter, is genetic. You can blame both your parents for that one. Sigh. I miss Mom too. It just isn't the same without her. I love you kiddo, Momika
Hey, you only have an hour left! Yay! I have a full day :( I hope you enjoy the Margaritas. Surprisingly, the headache isn't so bad. I've got water and some stale cookies so it's all good.
Spent the rest of the evening craving burrito's and Chinese food. But nothing was open so we drunkenly made burrito's, watched Mythbusters and crawled into bed at 9. Woowoo! The exciting life I lead.
