Spring in February (at least today)

Is anyone else out there concerned about our environment? All within the past week it has been frigid, horrible windstorms that knocked out power across western New York....heavy wet snow, etc. Today it is once again warm and all of the snow has completly melted

hmm..I don't know if I agree with eating meat as contributing towards pollution. Yes...they do use factories and farms to process meat...but you could say the same thing about a lot of things. Don't they use energy and farms for crops and aren't most of our foods produced in factories? in fact there are a ton of other things that are produced in factories. I think meat factories take up a sliver of the polluting factories out there.

I do agree with the other things you're saying....I can't say that I've always been the best about these things but it has been weighing on my conscious more and more. So I hope to change that.
