Prince Junno sat alone on his bed. Well, for now. The weather outside was awefull for most people, but good for him. In this weather the prince could slip into the castle secretly and come to Tatsuyas place. It was a dangerous business, of course, but it was dangerous too, tobe without his lover.
Every second without him his mind became hoplessly occupied with thought and hed walk into walls, or trip over a branch.
The past days had been good. Junno started thinking back at how he, together with the other prince, rode of on their horses and lay in the brown grass. For some reason it didn't seem so brown and dead when Tatsuya was there.
"Is this love?" Junno asked himself chuckling.
And at that moment the door openend and Tatsuya came in. Soaked wet and freezing. Junno pulled him closer by his hand and started to take of the sticking wet shirt that tachan was wearing. All the while the smaller prince was whining about that thiswas exactly the reason he prefered wearing veils.
Junno prefered it too he thought, and as soon as he thought that two soft lips were pressed against his own. The wet boy pulled Junnos arms around himself soaking him in the same rain. But that was fine with Junno. He came here just to hold him anyway.
The called prince then crawled unto his bed and made Junno cuddle him for hours.
In the middle of the night prince Junno sneaked back to his own place to find that he got a letter from his father, king Yuichi.
He was asking for an update. Junno decided it was best to be honest about his feelings towards Tatsuya, despite it being another prince, because he didn't want to lie about something that seemed so right.
A couple of days past and Junno and Tatsuya met each other secretly some more times, before he got an answer back.
"My son" It started.
"I'm happy you are feeling well, I know Barren can be a depressing place. Falling in love with another prince will be a problem for the future." It said.
"However, if you feel like you have found love, who am I to take that from you." It continued.
A day later Junno recieved a letter stating his father had died over night and his brother, prince Kazuya of Iden, had taken the throne for as long as Junno wasn't there.
Junno has to go the funeral of his father and king and rides to Iden. Even at the funeral, the colours of Iden are so bright compared to anything in Barren, well, apart from Tatsuya, that Junnos eyes hurt for a couple of minutes. He sees his brother at the funeral and the two start talking.
"I heard you like another prince" Kazuya said.
"Are you a moron? How can you fall in love with a man, while you were looking for someone to bear your children?" Kazuya yells at him.
Kazuya, who couldn't have children himself thangs to what Yokoyama did to him, was angry, and Junno could understand. But he was now the one how held the crown, and he wouldnt let his brother stand in the way of his own happiness while hjis father approved.
Tatsuya, who was still in Barren, faced another problem. One of the guards had seen Junno as he sneaked around in the garden. He knew, that if he wouldn't tell his father, king Koki, about the love they shared, Junno would be punished. He gathered all his strength and went to his father. He'll have to know one tme or the other anyway, Tatsuya told himself.
Junno, unaware of the happenings at Barren, rode back to Barrens citadel to pick up his prince. If they were to get married they had to do so in Iden, since Junno was now the king, eventhough he didn't reign yet. He first wanted to have Tatsuya by his side.
As he approached the gate, the guards stoped him. Junno didn't know what was going on and tried asking them, but the guards tied his hand and mouth. He was brought to the castle and throen don on the floor before the kings feet. Junno realised now, what he had done.
"How dare you filling my sons mind with wrong thought." King Koki spoke.
"You may come from a land where everything is bright and happy, but here we have to think about the future and work hard. I can not accept anymore interference of someone like you." He explained.
"I knnow you two have been sneaking around, meeting secretly, Tatsuya told me everything. The poor boy seemed so affraid. What have you done with him? No don't even answer. I know it all"
Junno was led to the dungeon and thrown in a cell.
"Tomorrow at dawn, your head will be on my wall, your land will be under my feet"
