I am old in 3 hours. As my last birthday was the hallmark of being legally able to vote and look at porn while inebriated, this one can only herald an eventual downward spiral of decay and Matlock. How's everyone else?
Happy birthday, even if I am a bit late on the uptake. If I recall correctly, there is one final bastion to adulthood which you must storm before you start the downward spiral - the age at which most rental car companies will allow you to drive their vehicles. I know that in Colorado, every car rental agency had some odd codifier in there about how the person needed to be 25. So, you still have something to look forward to as you climb that (gentling) adult slope.

It may be true, but I've never ventured that way, so I don't know how much use it'll be. Bad enough being surrounded by 17 year olds who can't believe I'm old enough to vote, let alone drink while I'm doing it.*
