Stomping Butterflies

What do you suppose Samuel was planning on having Hiro do after receiving the film revealing the truth about his abilities? Samuel said he had other tasks for Hiro. What other butterflies would need stomping?

Maybe, deep inside he felt regret for having to do what he did to get the carnival where it was? And that maybe he'd want to undo some of the terrible things he did, so that his dream could be realized with those that were lost.

Like undoing killing Joseph? Or were you thinking of something else? Because Samuel didn't seem to care enough to ask Hiro to save Mohinder.

That, or maybe collapsing that mansion. He's smart enough (to me at least) to know that it's probably better to go around preventing the murders, rather than creating a web of lies to cover them up. I can't see him using time-travel just to make sure he goes back and cleans up after himself, ya know?

Yeah, but how would he be able to prevent those murders without changing his personal timeline? Or rather, how would he have manipulated Hiro into doing it? I can never quite figure out if Samuel is a big picture kind of guy who leaves details to other people or if he's so good at manipulating people that they think the little details are actually their own ideas.
