Muscles, i can feel you hypertrophy-ing
I just got back from playing badminton with the prime and yao. What a rush! Hehe i forgot to bring a towel and an extra shirt, and bart & i lost one humiliating round to gp & yao at 15-0, but still, i had a lot of fun!

So! I'm now rotating in Surgery.
And the good news is that I'm (forever?) rid of Chimay and her bestfriend, Miss Brusko!
Even better news, I'm with Caps and Bart! Plus MC (Bart's girl) is cool, and GP (son of dean) ain't too bad either. I'm on night duty with them, even though I don't get to spend too much time with them because we're at different ( Read more... ) -
After my first day at JR ("the busiest, stinkiest hospital EVAR")...
I love it!
First of all, it's not as stinky as i imagined.
But everywhere you look, there is something to be done! 3 hours pass and it feels like 10 minutes because you are running and bustling, and poking and nagmamarunong and monitoring and blah blah blah. It doesn't end.

DONE DONE DONE...
...DONE with my pedia rotation! Wheeeeee!! Actually, I only feel like I'm done, but i'm only halfway through. I couldn't stand being inside FEU anymore, and I'm done with FEU's pedia department so I feel GREAT! GREAT!!!

I'm done na with my pedia-ward rotation!! Yayyyyyy!!! I no longer have to see Ms Chimay on a daily basis!!
I'm now im pedia-out patient, so (relatively) new residents, a new breed of patients and new responsibilities! I really like the environment in the out patient dept (OPD). Right next door is a bunch of my co-interns rotating in one department ( Read more... ) -
Group Mentality
I miss being in close contact with a group of people for prolonged periods of time. Hmm... that statement doesn't accurately reflect what I'm thinking.

Finally, my month-long rotation with Psych is over. Although the first two weeks at the mental hospital was fun, the next two weeks in FEU sucked, like really bad. There were no patients! I hung out at the interns' lounge all day, and just slept when I was on night duty!
