 We are now staying in a place called Galena, it is a very pretty historic town, but very geared up for tourists. But there are hardly any here at the moment which is good as there are plenty of car parking spaces. We spent most of yesterday driving round Iowa, my hubby managed to find a toy farm vehicles museum which we had to spend far to long in

I hope Harley is okay. Did the operation go well? One of them getting sick while you're on holiday is worse than one of them getting sick while you're at home. :o(

Operation went OK, Mary said they appeared very good. The first check up is Friday. So keep your fingers crossed for me

Is Harley a pug? We had a pug long ago who had eye problems.

Yes she is a black pug, their eyes are so exposed poor things.That and their nose problems because they are so squashed, it's breeding gone wrong I think, but she is such a lovely temperment.

Oh yes! Our pug and our Sparkle (see icon) were the two best dogs EVER! =>}

At least my kids are there to take care of things and I trust them. I am so glad I left them plenty of cash in case of emergencies and it's Mary's reading week so she has been around to do things
