Another show bites the dust and life goes on...

Glee has ended, and at least I can say the ending was satisfying (for me). Glee has been hit and miss for several years, and season 6 was more miss than hit, but they at least wrapped the season with a great look at where they have been, where they are, and where they will end up. The final episode was a celebration of Glee, and as a fan, I was ( Read more... )

Congratulations to your husband. I hope he'll be very happy in his new job and will soon be over whatever is making him sick.

The weather should be perfect for your time in NYC. It's already warming up and an order has been placed for you to have sunny days and no rain.

How nice for your younger daughter to come out to parents who are accepting. Would that that be the situation for all gay teens.
Did she keep any of her long hair, btw?

He LOVES his job, so to now have it on a permanent basis is awesome!

Thank you for putting forward my weather preferences to TPTB. Much appreciated, I hope they come through (for all our sake)

I'm sure there are gay teens that still have issues, but very few Australians actively practice any faith, I I believe (hope) that acceptance is far more the norm. Of course, the same can not be said of our Govt.

And her hair stayed behind on the floor of the hairdresser. We still have clippings from when she was little though.

There's never a dull moment, is there? Happy to see your daughter felt confident enough to come out and you accepted her. So many parents don't although I don't understand those parents at all.

I still have eps to watch of Glee. They've switched it to Friday nights now so that's better for me.

18 days. That will fly by. Just booked to see The Carole King Story. Still have almost 7 weeks till I leave.

I think her confidence was bolstered by her new hair cut. she looks amazing!!

for all Glee did wrong, I think they got the ending right, PERFECTLY right. I continued to love it until the end, but not so blindly that I couldn't see gaping holes in the story and plot.

Beautiful will be a great experience! I'm still deciding on what I want to see, and how much I can manage without abandoning my hubby on this holiday. I've only got Hedwig and Jersey Boys booked so far. I just had to see my #1 show on Broadway, even though I've seen it 4 times here

Jersey Boys was fantastic on Broadway. Much better than the Sydney version. The guy who played Franki Valli was hot and had an amazing voice but that was two years ago. Don't know if it's the same guy. Lion King was worth seeing on Broadway if you're interested.

So much happening for you and your family. It seems like even more lumped into one post. Glad we'll have an entire weekend to catch up. :D

Brava to Miss 14 on her self-awareness and good luck to Miss 17.

*HUGS to all of you*
