I see you your "Give it a rest already" and raise you one "Dead is dead."
Dead is dead. That's what we got from Rusty in the weeks after CoE. That, and a lot of insulting talk aimed squarely at insulting women, which is his MO. I took his advice about reading poetry, and now I'm respecting 'Dead is dead'.
It can't be an accident that the radio plays are being advertised now, when Miracle Day is about the h it the screens with a resounding thud. I guess the Torchwood Team wants to scrape every single fan up like so much batter in the cake bowl. Sounds like a little fear that the new show might need fans, which is rich considering Rusty's latest which talked about an embedded fanbase.
Mmmmmm, not so fast, cowboy, maybe not as many as you think. 'Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.'
ETA: Death threats? That might have been me, threatening to take the gas pipe to myself if I got suckered in by Rusty again.
Funny how many times I've seen "fool me once..." referenced lately about CoE2 and the radio plays.
As an Ianto fan, I actually don't need to be "reeling" again....I think I had quite enough reeling in CoE--starting with that I got reeled into watching it.
Well, I know I've said 'Fool me once' more than once ... :D
I'm sure there are plenty out there who look at anything coming out of TW with a jaundiced eye after Ianto. I notice how Rusty's toned it down for American print - someone must have coached him that the constant use of 'brilliant' to describe himself and his projects falls under the heading of 'Self praise stinks'.
I wonder what will happen if some or most of the American critics pan it? Will he have a full scale implosion? Stay tuned and see...
LOL, no more reeling for me, either, not counting the crassness of this move that sent me reeling.

But the sudden selling of Ianto in the radio plays--huh? As if we wouldn't notice the money-making ploy?
