1. I know all about ug-lay colours. We have yet to conquor 2 more rooms... one is an orange that burns your retinas if you stare directly into it, the other is an atrocious dark mauve. We have the colours picked out, but no time to get them done as of yet. Maybe we'll show you the colours and carpet we've already gotten rid of...
2. Since you're getting professionals to do your painting, it's going to look awesome. You can definately tell the difference!!

1: I've witnessed the horror of the orange. I think you should leave it as is, and then invite people you don't like over and lock them in that room.
2: We're doing it mostly due to the time constraints. We want to move in way before we'd have the time to paint it ourselves.

2. The painting is good, it's the prepping that is absolutely awful. You're lucky the pros are doing it. I hate that part! I can't wait until we're done... with the paint and the incoming furniture it'll feel like a home soon.

but if you get someone else to paint your house you'll miss all the brain killing fumes... lucky you -- I've had a headache for days from the painting we've been doing.
