An open letter to my various muses.

Dear CSI: Miami Muse:

Shut. UP.

Look, it's not that I don't like you. It's not that I never want to work with you ever again. I just want. To write. Something. Else. You've had a near-monopoly on my fic for the past month or so. I'm worn out. I need a break. It's not you, it's me.

This doesn't mean I'm never coming back, muse. And I really am going to ( Read more... )

ROTFLMAOOOOOO

Damn those muses! What a bunch of little buggers! D:

Nina/Connie?? WOW. That pairing had never even crossed my mind, like, EVER! That's definitely something new. XD Now, Nina/Ed/Connie...or even Nina/Ed/Connie/Jack...THAT'S something I'd like to see! *hinthint to Muppet's L&O muse*

I hate the House muses most of all! I had a House/Monk crossover muse once. I think he ran off with all of your muses, and they're having a fun party WITHOUT inviting us! How rude!

(Sorry if this comment made no sense, I'm full of sugar as well and really hyper, and this post was just great fun to read *grin*)

Precisely. That's why it's so puzzling that my own muse has been so hung up on it - it doesn't make any sense. >___< I'm not even sure what prompted me to think of it.

Nina/Ed/Connie would be v. v. interesting, though...hmm. Muse? What say you? (Please say yes. Because it sounds like fun.)

Also, a House/Monk crossover would be deeply amusing. :) I'd want to read that, should your own wayward muse return someday.

sugar = life. There is none without it. XD

Can I just give you an award for Best Blogging Style Ever? This set of letters is adorable. I mean, not that I'm trying to belittle your stern talking-tos, but really...reading this just brought a smile to my face. (Even though the plot bunnies described therein sound so cool that I'm tempted to light a fire under your muses for you)

Except for the fact that MY muse is currently glaring at me, noticing the usage of words like "dear," the firm but *polite* reprimanding (as opposed to orders given in capital letters), and most notably of all, the remarkable lack of cussing.

Heh, I'm glad it made you smile. And it was *very* difficult not to throw some capslock in there, so I know what you mean. :)

Bribe the non-existent ones with money and ice cream. It will make the ones taking over jealous, lol.

...say, that's a good idea. Ice cream will make anybody work. XD

Ha ha, probably. But then, I don't think it's ever not full. :D Might as well get used to it...

You should make this into a fic. And then write and rave some more at the bad disobedient muses. :P

Ah, but beyond this little set of letters, I have no idea where such a fic would go. After a certain point, it would degenerate into me throwing things. :D
