So. Staying up to watch the Oscars instead of working on the 7-9 page essay that's due tomorrow: exceedingly poor and irresponsible life choice.

But it was absolutely worth it for Ben Stiller (who I'm normally not a big fan of) in Na'vi makeup, Robert Downey Jr.'s "pasty mole people" comment, and Neil Patrick Harris' glorious sparkly tuxedo.

OMG, Ben Stiller's presentation and Neil Patrick Harris' dance number made the whole night. I gave up watching around 10:30, because really, there was not going to be any topping that.

That was probably a wise decision, because aside from a few choice dresses nothing really did. And then as a bonus I wouldn't have stayed up till midnight and not done my paper, um.

Still, though. Sparkly tuxedo. Worth it.
